My Passion in Arts.

Title of the painting: Secrets within Colours
I've painted this art piece of mine 4 months before i am enrolled into NAFA. This painting is about a beautiful young lady who yearns to achieve her dreams and goals in her life. Despite having an obstacles and rough journey throughout her life, she's willing to take in any risk and capable to do anything with her creativity mind. She's a positive person and love to learn & explore new things. 
P.S: This painting is a reflection of me.



Title of the Art work: Beauty behind the Veil.

You don't have to see the real piece to see the beauty in my art piece. Playing with vibrant colours of crayons made my creative thinking run wild. This art piece of mine, i've layered it with a thin layer of tissue on the top of my art work. It gaves a great smooth impact by looking at it.
P.S: This is my very 1st attempt on crayons.

Friendship Never End


 It's been a year that we have not meet each other due to our busyness and also we have our career and goals to achieve. Even though we are far apart, we never fail to contact each other and we would always mentioned on how much we've missed each other company. Frankly speaking we are not that into cafe but due to overwhelming of great comments about 'La Marelle cafe", we bought their signature cakes which I've seen a lot of my friends always posted pictures of it on Instagram and Facebook. The Rainbow Cake and Hazelnut Chocolate Cake really melts in our mouth when we gave it a first try. I would recommend La Marelle Cafe to anyone who loves cake and at the same time chilling out with your friends or colleagues. The environment is so artistic interior designed and it feels like as if u are in " art wonderland ". It's a lively place for me and I love it a lot. As you can see that the Rainbow cake really captured my attention as it remind me of a 'Pocket Colour wheel'. Not only the place look so artsy with their pop art colours but their cakes plays a part too with the right colours to make it very attractive.





Housewife cum Chef


Being a wife is definitely a new stage of my life. I love to cook and try out new recipe. One of my Breakfast recipe that my husband loved, it is ' French toast with fresh avocado & Scramble eggs '. My parents in-law loves it too. I love cooking a healthy food for my family. Health is very important to all of us and proper meal with healthy food, will boost up our immune system too. Cooking and trying out a new recipe is also an Art. Art is wide and taste of the food is also called 'An art of taste bud'. The colours of the food creates an attention to people and with taste of the food is the bonus of art of food that makes you feel the adrenaline rush through your spines when you have your very first bite of the delicious food.





The main course is the best dishes ever that I've made hehehe. it was my very first attempt to cook 'Sweet & Sour Chicken' and 'Sambal Ayam Bakar'. It taste so delicious till my husband ate a lot! Didn't expect that my very first time of cooking these dishes had turn out to be an excellent result.



 And as for the supper, i cooked a kebab for my husband and had a slices of 'kuih lapis' for a dessert. We love to eat and it is part of our hobby to hunt a new good food too. Food is something that all of us can't live without it. By looking at the colourful cake really made my day feel much lifted of happiness. :)



My Special Moment




The night where we called it "Henna Night" for the bridal. The girls are willing to stay up all night to get my henna done for my wedding. It was the most beautiful thing that I've experienced for once in my lifetime. The designs of the henna is very floral-like as i love flowers so much. Throughout our conversation through the night, i could say that my mind was mostly occupied on what was going to happen on the next day. NERVOUS!!!





 THE SOLEMNIZATION DAY
As you can see from the pictures above, it is the start of the solemnization where we have to take our vows and sealed our signatures onto the documents. I almost had a nervous breakdown and I keep giggling by myself to keep myself calm. The moment when my husband took his vows and accepted me as his wife, that was the happiest day of my life. The room was filled with classic colours which is my favourite colours: soft cream, umber, wooden brown, white and soft pastel red. Colours plays a part in our life and also at any even. As for my Big Day, classic colours has filled in my beautiful, sweet and memorable day.



 The two rings that bind us together was a message to everyone that " WE ARE MARRIED!" HEHEHE... the moment he put a ring on my left ring finger, it was the breathtaking moment. I wish I could smile even wider than i could have because I've never felt so much happier than before. As i've mentioned before that i love floral art. And here i am standing at the beautiful art floral aile with my dear husband. the soft pastel colours of the flowers and the bright green leaves matched perfectly with our silver-white wedding gown & suit. 


It was the best day of my life. Having him not just as a life partner, but a close friend, partner in crime, food hunting companion, night time owl adventure, art enthusiast, healthy sports companion and many more. P.S : Thank you for choosing me and You make my life complete.

Week 5 - Building a Structure Frame by using Spaghetti


Our Lecturer gave us only a few spaghetti to create a structure out of it. It must be balance and tall in order for us to put a marshmallow on the tip of the structure. I must admit that this is very challenging for us to maintain the stability of the structure when the moment we put the marshmallow on the tip. With all the support and working together as a team, we managed to make it stable and it was a success. Hooray!!! 

Week 4 - Resipi of " Ricola and Cornflakes" (Creative Thinking groupwork )


It was funny and weird when the moment we had to brainstorm and create 100 recipe of ricola and cornflakes as a dish. It's weird but we had fun and laughter while discussing a ridiculous recipe for just a combination of ricola and cornflakes. Out of 100 recipe, we need to choose 3 main dishes as a ' Starter, Main course and Dessert'. 
Starter - ' Minced cornflakes with sundried ricola'
Main Course - 'BBQ Ricola with Fried Cornflakes' 
Desserts - ' Fermented for 10 years cornflakes with ricola'  

Our presentation went well and everyone enjoyed it. Great thanks to my group member Jie Yi, Tong Sheng and William.

Sheperd's Pie ( My Family Favourite dishes...)

Ever since I started baking Shepherd's pie, it has become my signature dish for the happy tummies.
  This is my 2nd attempt on baking it, I added a few of western herbs and some tomato puree to add the sweet and a little bit of spices flavour to blend in with the mutton taste. I also did added more mozzarella cheese and it taste "mmmm mmmmm" you will want to have a second plate right after your first course. Well stay tune for more postings on cooking.
